Method Body Wash Review

For nearly 10 years, Dr. Bronners Castile Oil Soap has been my go to for body wash.  Recently after going to bed ridiculously early, I found myself wide awake at 3am.  I was bored, so I decided to make my way to my local 24 hour grocery store.  I needed a few items like laundry detergent, eggs, and body wash.  I’m used to being able to get all of my natural and organic products from my normal grocery store, so I was really disappointed when I go to the body wash aisle and there was no Dr. Bronner soap in sight.  I knew the rest of my day would be hectic so there wasn’t going to be much time to stop anywhere else, so I decided to try to find the next best thing.

I found a unique looking foaming body wash by Method.  I use several of  Method’s products like the dish soap and laundry detergent already in my home, so I wasn’t too skeptical of trying out their body wash, even though it was outside of comfort zone.

That same day I tried the body wash and instantly fell in love.  The scent was really light and crisp, I loved how one pump pushed out so much product so a little bit goes a long way with this. I shower twice a day, sometimes three times depending on the circumstances, so the fact that I still have a half full bottle a month later is a huge deal! I also liked that it didn’t leave my skin feeling dry or itchy.  Another thing I liked was the cost, a bottle of Dr. Bronner’s usually runs me about $12 while this body wash was only $5.  The one thing I didn’t like about it was that it didn’t leave my skin with the clean tingly feeling I get some the peppermint scented Dr. Bronner’s soap.

While I’m not sure if this is a permanent replacement for Dr. Bronners, it definitely has done the trick and will be a good backup product!

What are you favorite Method products???

Until next time…
